Explore Noble Ride, LLC.

We are a student transportation company specializing in providing transportation services to and from school for students with special needs.

1.) Type of the Vehicle for Transportation

- Any minivans, SUVs, or four-door sedans can be considered as suitable vehicle options. The vehicle should not be more than ten years old. It is essential that the vehicle remains clean and reliable throughout the service. All seatbelts must be in proper working order to ensure the safety of the students. Drivers should anticipate their vehicles being inspected prior to the start of the school year to ensure they meet the necessary standards for transportation services. This inspection helps maintain the quality and safety of our fleet.

2.) Special Training Requirements

- Special training is required for drivers. As part of this training, drivers are expected to complete an online tutorial specifically focused on transporting children with special needs. After viewing the tutorial, drivers must successfully answer a series of questions to ensure their understanding and competence in handling such situations. This training aims to ensure that drivers are well-equipped to provide safe and appropriate transportation.

3.) Employee or Independent Contractor

- All drivers employed by Noble Ride, LLC. will be classified as employees and can expect their paychecks to reflect the necessary withholdings, including taxes and other applicable deductions. Additionally, the company provides workers’ compensation insurance to ensure that drivers are covered in case of any work-related injuries or accidents.

4.) Background Checks

- To ensure the safety and security of the transportation service, each driver is required to undergo a comprehensive background check that includes providing fingerprints. Additionally, drivers must provide a copy of their California driver’s license and vehicle registration as part of the verification process. To maintain a drug-free work environment, drivers are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Furthermore, drivers must provide evidence of being tested for Tuberculosis (TB). These measures are implemented to maintain the highest standards of safety and well-being for both the drivers and the passengers.

5.) Driving Distance and Duration

- In this transportation service, each individual pick up or drop off is referred to as a “run”. Each run can involve picking up or dropping off up to two children. The duration of each run typically ranges from 15 to 50 minutes, covering a distance of up to 16 miles. These runs occur during the beginning and end of the children’s school day. On average, most drivers complete 2 to 4 runs per day as part of their schedule.

6.) Driving Schedule

- The driving schedule aligns with the school district’s operational hours. Therefore, driving begins when the school starts, and students who require transportation services are identified. It is important to note that the driving schedule follows the school district’s calendar. If there is no school on a particular day (e.g., weekends, holidays, or scheduled breaks), no driving services will be required during those times.

7.) Your Offered “Run”

- During the week before school starts, drivers will be offered a series of runs that are expected to become their regular, daily routes. However, it’s important to note that there may be changes to routes during the first few weeks of school and throughout the school year. Drivers are encouraged to be flexible and accept these changes with a positive attitude. Being adaptable and accommodating to route adjustments is essential for a smooth operation.

8.) How the Runs Operate

- Each driver is mandated to have a smartphone and install the Everdriven Application, which serves as the communication platform between Everdriven and Noble Ride, LLC. The application facilitates daily communication regarding the transportation requirements of the school district. The objective is to create a regular route for each driver, enabling them to follow the same path every day. This approach helps drivers develop rapport with the children and gain the trust and confidence of the parents by being a familiar and dependable presence.

9.) Need to Take a Day Off or Getting Sick

- Commitment to assigned routes and effective communication are crucial qualities we seek in our drivers. It is important for drivers to fulfill their responsibilities and, in cases where they are unable to drive, communicate promptly and clearly. We encourage a collaborative environment where drivers can support each other by filling in for one another when necessary. This helps ensure reliable transportation services and maintains the efficiency of our operations.

10.) Compensation

- Drivers who operate their own vehicles will receive a payment of $28, which includes a non-taxable mileage reimbursement, for each run up to 16 miles. The payment remains the same regardless of the number of students on the route. The pay meter will only start once the driver picks up the first child.

- Payday is scheduled every week through direct deposit. It’s important to note that this is a part-time position, and no additional employment benefits are provided.

- Drivers are compensated solely for the runs they complete, emphasizing the importance of their availability to drive, particularly during mornings and afternoons. While drivers have freedom to accept or reject offered runs, it is strongly recommended that they remain flexible and accept as many offered runs as possible. Being adaptable and open to accepting all available runs benefits the driver’s own interests.

11.) Auto Insurance

- Your current liability policy is considered sufficient and in compliance with the requirements. However, we will also provide additional insurance coverage up to $1,000,000 while the driver is “Under dispatch”. This coverage specifically includes third-party liability and property damage to the driver’s vehicle. This additional insurance serves to provide comprehensive protection and address any potential risks that may arise during the course of transportation services.
